The Global Impact Project is an initiative through which Beta Alpha Psi promotes education and business. We believe that by doing so we not only help by making a difference in individual’s lives, but we also contribute to the greater good of society.BAP has partnered with Imbako Public Health, a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing poverty and promoting education among Kenyan women and children. BAP will continue to partner with Imbako until sufficient funds are raised to start an endowment. After the endowment is fully funded, BAP will shift the focus of the Global Impact Project to another education-related initiative.Over the past 2 semesters, BAP members and candidates have raised nearly $30,000 and have helped change the lives of nine underprivileged Kenyan women. The money raised is used to cover full college scholarships for motivated women who would not normally have the opportunity to go to college. The young women we help now will be powerful change agents in their villages in the future. Directly touching one life will have a powerful impact on many generations to come.
